Just precision training.... flu it for 9 packs and practiced nose in hovering in all of them. 15 mph winds too.

Flew 5 packs in the morning with the b450. Played on the sim for 30 mins or so, then took out my 450 pro and flew another 5 packs. The b450 makes for a real good trainer heli, cheap to bash around, gave me a lot of confidence to let loose with my pro finally....

Wow, I'm reading guys who have put through 5 or 6 packs in a day, envious and what I've achieved today pales in comparison.

Today I got my servo heads aligned to 90 degrees with the sub trims, levelled the swash and got the pitch adjusted better than it was. Hopefully get time t fly her tomorrow and test my adjustments!

Waiting for my boca bearings to replace the stock bearings on my 440 motor, darn thing has all kinds of play on the pinion and squealing after 30 flights. Kept it pretty lubed up and nice play between main gear, who knows

Flew 4 packs today. Hovering nose-out and left/right sides...not ready for nose-in yet, a few pirouetts and some FF. Playing with collective more to control altitude and to allow faster FF. Gaining confidence everytime now and not shaking nearly as much....lol

Rain in CA this morning, so no flights. 3 flights at lunch to test out new tail servo - not sure why that started acting funny. Really bad grinding and not so good heading lock, so figured it was time to replace before loss of control. Hovered upside down for 10secs (longest so far).

Then went on to maiden my Trex450 flybarless conversion.

Let them sit on the shelf. I haven't flown a r/c device in a week and a half and its driving me nuts!!! I need the rain and wind to stop for the weekend so I can get my fix!!!

I did, however, get to fly my stunt kites last weekend so at least I had that.

Since my crash yesterday, I've been grounded. The damage was so extensive that I am getting a new one and using the crashed one for Parts.

Today I ordered some fusino tail blades & carbon fiber tail fin/horizontal stablizer and KBDD Flybar Paddles to replace the damaged ones.

If you're anything like me you'll wind up eventually repairing the damaged one too. Unless its really REALLY totaled.

Please wait before installing the fusuno tail blades. There might be an issue with them apparently. Let me do some test if you don't mind. A fellow freak sent me a message that his tail blade grips broke with the new fusuno blades...

I'll run extensive tests when i receive mine and will let you all know!

I've already been running them without any issue.. They look identical to the KBDD, but the plastic feels more stiff than the KBDD. Trying to imagine how that could happen.. Please share..

Apparently, they are longer and heavier, thus making more stress on the tail blade grips.

Again, I have not tested this. Just a heads up... I've been running the KBDD forever and never had an issue..

There are two sizes of the KBDD tail blades: 59.6mm and 61mm(Pro)
The Fusunos are copies of the 61mm KBDDs, but the Fusuno specs say they are 62mm.

I held them both next to each other and they looked identical in design and length.
I'll take a closer look and measure/weigh them when I get home.

I have been running the KBDD Pros for about a month with no issues. Just put on the fusunos about a week ago.
