Default Unisens E Telemetry sensor

I just installed one on my Logo 600sx. 4mm wire version.
Works great.
So I have setup for the following to be displayed:
Mah consumption (25% alarm)
Battery amps
Batttery V (alarm at 3.55v a cell)
Rotor RPM
Rx v
Altitude ( 400ft alarm)

Can you post some information on this unit ? I have never heard of it before . As far as I am concerned that is the key feature of the V radios.

Software is in german but very simple to use.
It cost less than Spektrum TM1000. Lol
Not much explination needed really. You have to open the software and set the sensor to JR dmss. Wire it up and and enjoy the info. The newer firmware that ships on the sensor works great with JR.

If you have any specific questions feel free to PM me.

Default Unisens E Telemetry sensor

Very cool. I was looking into one of those and even tried to buy it once. I had some issue with the website so I gave up. Could have just been one of those things.

Was the set up on the computer difficult? I was concerned about that since I was going to have to use Boot Camp on my Mac.

I ended up using a JLog. It's nice but depending on what kind of ESC you are using you may have issues even its supported. Castle didn't work so well but Kontronik works really well.

Setup was a breeze. No issues at all.
I left the gear ratio in the software at 1:1. Then set it in my radio.
Set the pole count.

No need to set any alarms in the software. When used with JR you set them in the transmitter.

Only problem is the low amperage rating, for my setups I easily go past their stated maximum. JLog works really well with Kosmik and I get what I want out of it.

Nobody. Shannon at OnlyFineHelis tried to see if he could bring them in but apparently they weren't interested.

From the manual the specifications are as follows

Current range:
140 A in both directions, ie 140A to + 140A

Following durations are allowed:
-100A unlimited
-120A for 1 minute
-140A for 20 seconds

Depending on the
plug in system, but the limitations of the plug are much lower! Reasonable values are as follows:

-MPX green (double contact) and XT60
Continuous 50 A
20 s: 70 A

-
4 mm gold plated plug
Continuous: 80 A
/ 20 s: 100 A

-
5.5 mm gold plug
Continuous:120 A
/ 20 s: 150 A

-6.0 mm LMT gold plug
Continuous:120 A
/ 20 s:150 A

Thanks did not know that, now that may be an alternative to JLog. The only problem I have is that it can be a point of failure and being on the supply side of the ESC it can cause a total loss of electrical power to the heli.
