13T and 14T pinion
Im using the stock pinion that came with the kit. 13T.
Im wondering how many are using the 14T. How much flight time is lost going from the 13T to the 14T and is the time loss worth the performance? All opinions appreciated. Thanks,

14T is a bit overkill IMO. I had a 15T on there with a scorp -8 and it was too much even at 80% throttle. I went to the 12T to give it a try at 100% but imagine i'll settle with the 13T.

14t will kill your motor and battery.
I think I guy on here was saying that after a flight with the 14T the motor was hot enough to boil water instantly

That was me. I got a second degree burn when I touched it the first time. That means temps at least 150 degrees. I need to get a thermometer to see the temps I'm getting. Honestly though? I loved the performance I was getting, because when the head bogged down the extra head speed would keep the tail spinning faster, so it wouldn't blow out on tick tocks and stuff. Also, I think it might burned out the throttle channel on my receiver, just a heads up. When I get my receiver back from horizon I'm going to put on my castle BEC, and see if the problem continues.
