2010 Visalia First of the Year Heli Bash Jan 1,2,3
It's time to get the diehards together again and start the funfly season early!!!We will be hosting a 3 day event again this year with overnight camping friday and saturday nights. Lunch will be provided saturday and sunday. No registration fee,but AMA will be required. No raffle or events planned, this is a flyers funfly. If you didn't attend last year we will have warming fires going all day,and have 2 main station's up front and an smaller station out back.I would encourage any in the area who are needing setup help or instruction of any kind to make it to this event.Myself and a couple of other's in the club will be on hand to help those with questions. Directions to the feild are simple: Off Hwy 99,take the Tagus exit east onto ave 264.Head east for about 4 or 5 miles and 264 will dead end into the old Sierra Veiw Golf Course.Pull into the parking lot and you will see us on the south end of the old driving range. Please post any questions or PM me if you are attending and bringing an RV. We'll see you there!!!!!

DIEHARDS!!!!!!
All right its time for all the heli diehards to come out of the wood work and celebrate the new year, nothing better than being the first one in the air on the first day of the year. All you electric guys bring your power supplies we should have plenty of generator power.

Tim, think this through...
A few key words to note: January, at night, cold!! Kyle's in. He says, "Night flying, sure, no problem"! I'll watch from right next to the fire pit . Dave |

Tim, be great to have you and John up here.We did night fly last year on Sat. night and Friday wouldn't be a problem at all if people want. And yes the fire's will be going into the night. Also last year we had my deisel heater running in a 3 sided canvas garage with a sim running on the back wall.Nice break from the cold and still get to wiggle your thumbs!!!
