Default Jive Pro 120 will NOT initialize the motor

OK,
I'm installing my new Jive Pro 120. I am familiar with the Kontronik stuff as I have 2 Kosmiks, a HeliJive and a Jive.

I am changing out the HeliJive for the Jive Pro in my Goblin 630.
Skookum 720BE, Torq 9180 HV, KDE 600XF- 530-G3.

I upgraded the Jive Pro with Version 1.4 using the ProgUNIT.
I want to run the Jive Pro BEC at 8V (like I do in the Kosmiks) and have both the master and slave connected.

The Skookum initializes fine, and all the servos work correctly. There is a solid red LED on the Jive Pro.
I have a linear curve from 0-100, no trims or sub trims.
There are no tones on the motor.

I basically completely dismantled my entire electrical wiring, changed every cable, tried three different motors, changed out the Skookum for another one, reset the Jive Pro to factory defaults, banged my head on the desk and drank beer.

So far, only the beer is working.
Getting frustrated here.
Any thoughts?

Cheers
Scotty

If your not getting tones when plugging in pull the jumper and begin programming.

Did you try pulling the jumper? Tones at first plug in do not always happen unless the motor off value is the same value as when last initialized,If you pull the jumper it will make programming tones!

Solid red LED, no tones, no initialisation, nothing. Yeah, happened to me too.

Plug in battery, wait five seconds and pull the jumper. The Jive Pro enters programming mode. Program reset, program mode 4 and then everything worked as it should. And continues to work fine.

If I ever get to Sweden, I owe you a beer!!!!
That worked. Now I have the tones, I programmed Mode 1 and Mode 4 and I'm good to go.

Thanks so much!
