I have this tail case on both of my 130x's. Hundreds of crashes and no issues at all. The one on yours might be junk.

not real happy with there gears, all of them, A-B-C-D.I ordered all new ones and the slop on the torque tube is horrible. This is a new LYNX 150mm torque tube, i'll be lucky to get 20 flights out of them before thay are junk

I have the xtreme tail cases on both of mine. One for two years and the other for about one year. No problems so far with many flights on both. I have been very happy with them. That is the first time I have heard of that happening.
Is it possible you crashed tail first on concrete or pavement before? I have had some tail first crashes but they were in grass.

I had a couple, I agree, THEY ARE JUNK! Thats why they're like $16 or whatever.

RakonV2 is the ultimate TC for this bird but i dont think you can get it anymore.

Lynx Quad bearing tailcase is a close second to the RKH

You broke the TC in half but no other damage to be seen?

I have one also had it for about 20 flights every things great. It helped take the slop out of the tail shaft. I'm waiting for the xtreme tail shaft to come in, anything has to be better then that stock tail shaft.

Is your tail case version 1 or 2?

I had always problems with the plastic parts around the bearing. No spare for this part. You must buy an other tail case.. For me a very bad tail case.

I just changed my stock tail shaft for one from xtreme and the little bit of the resonance left is gone. I flew it in front of my house , it flew very smoothly.
Gotta say there might have been better parts out there but for the improvement versus cost my experience with xtreme products has been good.

Yes bird has not been crashed. Luckily I was coming in on a dead battery.

I bought a used Xtreme TC from a local. He used his 130x for warm-ups and practicing new stuff over his driveway. I'm still running that tail case on my 150 stretched bird which has been crashed over the concrete parking lot at my apartments quite a few times, hit a building once, TH over the roof of a 2 story building then tumbled to the sidewalk below, crashed a bunch of times in grass and gravel, and the TC is still fine!

I have had a lot more problems with my MH tail case on my non-stretched bird.

I run the Xtreme metal A, B, and D gears without issues too. Still running the first set I put on the heli. Don't keep track of flights but it's been through tons of crashes.
