Question Some 120 SR questions

After a couple of years not very satisfying 4 channel experience, I'm a would be scale flyer and not interested in CP as a by the way, a couple of months ago I got a 200 SRX. When it works it is a nice machine but never in my life (I'm a pensioner) have I owned anything so fragile and unreliable. I'm on the third heli after two main motor burnouts, have also had to replace the complete tail, motor, rotor, boom and stays, about 4 main gear replacements, main rotor and now a duff aileron servo. I'm about set to consign it to the cellar!
Q1. Is the 120 SR more durable? Can I get one of these and run it for less than the spares cost of the 200 SRX.

If I get one I would go for BNF as I already have a Nano QX which gave me a MLP4DSM transmitter which I know has its limitations.

Q2. Could I bind a 120 SR to the LP6DSM transmitter I got with the 200 SRX?

In my current frustrated state I will appreciate all your comments and wonder if I should get a Phoenix simulator too.

You can definitely bind the 120SR to the LP6DSM.

You would be far better off spending the money on a DX6i transmitter than 200SRX and MLP4DSM.

Remember LP in MLP6DSM transmitter means low power.
I would consider this an indoor transmitter! It has a very limited range, 80 to 100 feet maximum. Anything beyond 50' your pushing your luck!

I'm sure 120SR would be great indoors with LP6DSM! But I have not tried this combination.
But DX6i is what you should spend your money on!

The LP6DSM is the same as the one that came with the Blade SR. Skip the dx6i and opt for the updated DX6 Black Edition. I did. Never regretted it.

LP6DSM comes with the 200SRX...

HP6DSM came with the Blade SR

And yes, the Spektrum DX6 is a much better option
