Formula upgrade parts

I've been waiting for the Formula parts to appear at dealers since they were announced Jun 5 (almost 3 months ago). It's been a while and most retailers don't have them yet. Some have them listed but out of stock. The canopy is the most available followed by the boom supports. The canopy supports are nowhere to be found, unless they come with the canopy, which is doubtful because not every replacement canopy should come with canopy posts.

Empire not only doesn't have these listed but has about half the normal spares out of stock. Most other vendors have many parts missing too. I can not find one place to complete an order with these upgrades plus a few spares I need, every time there is something missing, the upgrades mostly but not exclusively.

Any idea when these parts will be more accessible or at which retailer? Anyone knows why Gaui is so backordered with spares for this model? Is it a slow seller so retailers don't replenish parts' stock?

Have you personally ordered from them? I cant order without making an account and there is no way to register, the 'accept' button on the register page is a dead button, won't do anything at all. I've emailed them twice with no response, I 've had to order from overseas dealers.

Will you let us know if you are able to order from them? And I thought the canopy and boom struts were the only formula upgraded parts for the x2? And no, the canopy doesn't come with mounting posts. I just bought one and boom struts and didn't know I needed extra posts so now I have to order those too.

As mentioned I could not order from Gaui. I placed an order with Complete Heli which was highly recommended and parts showed in stock. Several days later there was no shipping or even an order processed status change. I sent emails asking what was going on and I had no answer. Mysteriously 30 days later the package shipped. I think they did not have stock and ordered from Gaui themselves. I'll never know. The site didn't send me an email informing of the shipping either, I noticed when I went in to cancel the order. Parts arrived this week and I am finishing repairs and upgrades.

Yeah I am finding that out. I didn't even realize until now that your previous posts were back in august, and you just now got the parts? Daaang. I was able to register on gaui.com, it was a problem with firefox, had to use IE. So I placed an order but haven't heard from them yet. Haven't even completed the heli yet and can't find parts, hope I never crash the damn thing or wear anything out. I was told parts were hard to find before I bought it, should have looked into it more. I want to get those formula canopy posts and can't find them anywhere.

I wonder if the X4 II canopy posts will work? They look shorter and like the x2 formula ones. They are only 3.70 so I bought some from HeliDirect with another order I placed yesterday. I will let you know if they work.

No go on the X4II posts - diameter is way too fat.
