Default 3s stretch ?

Had a little mishap this morning. In my spare parts I have a stretch kit. Can I run the stretch on 3s and just use 325 blades instead of the stretch 350mm blades? Not wanting to put my 6s motor in yet, I have lots of 3s packs to use first

Sure, did this for a while too. It´s the longer main blades that create the need for more power. Maybe you tail gain needs to be adjusted due to more leverage but that´s about it.

Hi friend,

You definitely can. After flying a warp, I decided to stretch my vwinrc 450T 2 weeks ago. The shorter blades at 315mm did well on the stretched heli. Subsequently I changed to 360mm blades for better stability as my place is pretty windy. All at 3s setting. So everything is good. In fact you may be in for a pleasant surprise. If you do decide to go for 350 or 360mm blades. The lighter blades at 20+ gm may be more suitable at 3s.

Cheers.

quite a few people run full stretch kits on 3s, i have heard 3s is nearly as good as 6s just runs warmer tan the 6s.
