We just got word that our burn permit has been revoked due to the high fire danger. That means no BBQ this weekend. We're trying to come up with a plan to feed everyone lunch - maybe a bunch of Subway or Pizzas... I guess we'll all find out what the solution is when the sun comes up tomorrow.

I'll be heading down to the field in about 2 hours... Still no answer on the RV camping.

OK, just heard from the base..

LIMITED RV camping is ok. What they said was "5 or 6 people" isn't an issue so if we get too many, I may have to ask some to roll up the road to Walmart for the night.

I'll be at the field by 5 if anyone wants to come in tonight.

Humid is right Daniel. Sitting in my trailer with all the windows open and sweating my ass off.. I'm tempted to fire up the generator for 10 mins so I can run the AC...

Finally home, unloaded, laundry going, food down my neck and in mere moments, a much needed shower...

I heard a rumor that this event may have been the largest turnout of any event in the 27 year history of the club. I'm going to investigate that further. If it's not, it's got to be up there in the top 5 if not 3.

Big thanks to everyone who showed up and shared our field this weekend. It was great to see all the usual suspects and a few new ones. A couple of shout outs..

Thanks to everyone who made it possible, Kevin you da man great job setting this thing up, Daniel Thanks to you for keeping the power grid going and all the help your my bestest Heli buddy, John thanks for letting me fly your Helis how many people ever get asked "wanna fly my Logo?" was a first for me. Richard your 7HV rocks hope to have one some day thanks for letting me fly it, Tim awesome night flying you make it look bright and easy, thanks again for the Hop ups, Awesome flying everyone even tho I heard a few "THUMPS" (including my poor 550 )I was impressed never a dull moment .

Can't wait to see you all at Palomar
