Sluggish elevator controls
Hi all!
My son just got an mCX. I was showing him how to do pre flight checks and noticed that the swash movement forward and backward is practically nonexistent while the movement from left to right is much greater. Is this normal for this heli? I wouldn't bring this up but it really affects the helis performance when flying outdoors...like we couldn't fly against a very gentle breeze.

Check to see if the flight battery isn't making contact with the servo gears.

What Pfloyd said mainly but this is not the best heli for outdoor flying. A sparrow could break wind nearby and send it somewhere you wouldn't want it to go. With all your TX settings to neutral check the swash for level all around. If it is give it a go inside. This is what they're mainly meant for. They're not a fast forward flight heli which is why I put a swash from an MCX2 in mine. Let us know.

A much better fix is the metal swash for the mSR...
And a sport tail boom with slider weight to adjust the FF cg... EFLH2428 |

Thanks for the info!
I put the battery in found that it was probably the ribbon on the battery that was causing the binding. When the servo is clear the swash moves freely in all directions It's also good to know this little guy isn't very good in the wind... I'll shoot for very calm days when he's ready for outdoor flying. A big thank you to all of you!
