So if you go from 0 - 100% throttle instantly, the motor will spin to 100% as instantly as physically possible. You want this if you're using FBL gov because the FBL provides all the throttle input - like slow spoolup, etc.

If you have the ESC in heli mode or other, the ESC will be controlling slower spool-up functions or other mechanisms that moderate throttle input into the motor.
For obvious reasons you dont want your heli to go from 0 to 100% headspeed instantly.
Perfect, that's what I needed to know. Thanks, Dave

Is there a motor pole count like in vbar gov? Or just ratios? 120/21 etc.

If using stock tail not speed up what ratio is suggested in the software.

The sensor divisor is half the pole count. There is really good instructions to the left on every page. The gov page explains all this in very good detail FYI. You'll need to setup flat throttle curves as well as calibrate the throttle to the esc. Doing so with the gov turned off then you must turn it back on after that.

Thanks I saw the comment about gov off in the next page, but didn't see the 1/2 pole count, 890 kv says 10p so set will the pole count to 5.

I did see the 40/60/100 throttle curve settings - sounds a lot like castle- easy enough.

So if you have bank switching separate from idle up 1 and 2 the head speed is set by throttle curve you can now tweak each bank at will.

Very nice

That is correct, banks and gov head speeds are separate channels as is tail gain as well and rescue if you have enough channels that is. Or you can get creative.
