I cant find an updated manual or file download for the DX9. I guess I just use the DX8 programming?

And what is this lynx TBSR thing? I just started fiddling with my 130x again and got the wobbles dialed out after putting all the MH aluminum parts on it but now it is acting like there is no power. Its been awhile since I've flown it but I dont remember it being so weak? So I just ordered a Quantum motor and the Hawk RC metal gear set - do I need to put this TBSR boom on it too? Why the heck not, I've already sunk a few hundred in this little b@$t@rd that I'll never get back...

(besides the original purchase cost) whats another 100 bucks or so?

With the DX9 you would use the DX8 or DX18 program I called HH and they said to use the highest radio program available, I haven't had any issues with mine doing that!

+1 on what dcarboni said. I don't think enough of the profiles are out yet for the DX9.

Setting up my DX9. Can anyone attach a DX9 SPM file for the 130X? A file for a stock 130X preferred. I am still using a stock motor and tail servo even though I have other upgrades.

Here you go. Check all your controls before flying, and make sure the flight modes and dual rates/expo are what you want.

Not a problem at all (and your settings might be better), but I figured I would start with stock until I actually fly it again.

why is it when i create a model it makes a copy of the model and the 130 doesnt have a number?

Hey guys, so I have issues with the setup of the redbull 130. I have a dx9 and used the setup guide for the dx18 since they do not have a 9. All the controls seem to work fine until I take it of hold then all the surfaces slowly start to bind up after I move the stick around. When I put it back on hold, after a few seconds everything resets and seems to be working. HH sent me a new control board for the heli and I get the same results. I wonder if it is my radio setup. Any Ideas?

If you hold it in your hand, it will not fly

and certainly not behave as a flybarred heli (swash will not follow sticks because it is controlled by as3x)

Was wondering if you could post settings in pdf formatt that way a newbee can do setup with a reference page. Thanks in advance

Is the step by step guide Step by step DX6 / DX9 for 130x sufficient?
