Yes, host it elsewhere and use the insert image button (in the advanced editor - it's the yellow button with a mountain on it) to add the IMG tags. When prompted by the popup, insert the URL and press OK.

Thanks,
It was a $250 consumer financed test flight for Align.

The frames, and the fly paddles survived!

Well guys the day finally came, my packs have arrived and charged up for a few test cycles. After adjusting the gyro gain slightly and half a turn of blade tracking the 500 was sitting there nice and easy in the hover. Few climbouts and what can i say WOW!! this heli flies almost like my 600 but more agile...very impressed with the latest trex addition to my family. few circuits and landed....packs warm, motor bit warmer, ESC cold.

One thing i have changed since the original setup was the addition of a SportsBEC running on 6v. Hearing a few rumours going around of the align esc with onbard bec playing up and causing brown outs on 2.4ghz systems for piece of mind i just put the bec on.

If you are having thoughts about whether you go the 500 or not, get it - this is one top heli. a few more cycles and ready for Jono flight test

http://www.dimensionengineering.com/SportBEC.htm

It is only 3.5 amps though, so how is it any better when concerned with the amp load from servos?, that is what is dipping the voltage on the Align one, which is advertised to supply 3.5 and upwards....

Actually it's kind of a "mockup". I will take the head off for servo and electronics install, but I have a big workbench so I don't mind the tail winging about!

If they're loud all the better! I've been wanting a heli that barks when you pop it a lot ...

LOL. But did they FLY good? I kinda like the blade farting. Do stiffer blades make more noise?
