Is 5 too Low for gov Gain?
I have Castle Creations Phoenix 80HV ESC in 600ESP mechanics in a Funkey MD500E 700 size scale Fuselage.
It seems to need to be set to a low Gov Gain of 5 to stop pulsing(and resultant pulsing tail wag) in my heli. I had initially thought this was a vibration issue but after some reading determined it was the Gov gain. Using head speed ranging from 1200 to 1500 seemed to make little difference until I dialed down the Gov gain to the 5 it is at now so I was curious if anyone else had had this experience. Using: 600ESP mechanics AR7210BX CC80HV Scorpion 510KV 10s System Thoughts?

If using the ESC gov, then use whatever works best for your setup. You can look at the logs and see how well the gov is holding RPM for you. My 700 likes a custom value of 10 Gov gain can be very dependent on head speed amongst other things, so your model may just be a little different than others as a scale model within a fuselage

You can use your cursor and left mouse button to draw boxes around key areas on the graph and it will zoom up nice and big for you at that location. I look at places where the load changed rapidly to see how the RPM is responding when loading and unloading the head.
