Default Question regarding the H0016 Pulley update

Finally received my H0016 replacement pulley. (first picture)

I was expecting the pulley as shown in the second picture.

So can someone tell me what the story is regarding the pulley update? Is the pulley "with the bolts" simply the forerunner to the one that I received?

Which one did everybody else receive?

BTW my pulley has 36 teeth not 37, I thought they were all going
to be an upgrade to a 37 tooth pulley?

Thanks,
Wiz

As far as i know, the one with the bolts is the new pulley. I have never seen the one on the left before. I think you received something other than the correct pulley. I would get with your distributor and raise some hell.

Odd, that looks like one solid pieces, no flanges at all? If so I guess thats even better, no bolts that comes lose and all that.

It's hard to see from the pic but the flange construction seems to be as before but now with the insertion of a "plug" ring that overlaps onto the flange and also extends into the pulley hub a good 1/4" around the inner wall.

Wiz
The pulley with that slot is the light weight version. It is ok to use, same as the one with the screw.

Ok, thanks for the feedback.

Is this to say that there are two diffrent pulleys to choose from?
Neither are shown as inventory at H.D.

How does a guy get one with 37 teeth?

Again - what have the rest of you "first batch" guys been receiving?

Thanks Wiz

They came with the 2nd batch & I believe these were sent out for replacements for the 1st batch.
