Some more pics

I can now officially confirm nothing is being governed, but the motor is powerful enough that it doesn't seem to really be a problem. I'll still fix it eventually, but I'm not in a huge hurry.

Best thing about it?
Talon 15 and motor come down *barely* warm after a decent smackdown

With the belt the way it is, I'm not so sure

On the bright side, infinity belt should be here today

Found some Lynx dampers in stock in the US (a hard thing to do it seems these days...) so I ordered them to give them a shot

Hopefully they'll help with my wobbles and delayed collective.

Also, switched to the Talon 15 governor and it's really good, so as of now I'm just not even gonna bother with the Vbar gov. In fact once I replace the battery leads I might just remove the sensor... might get it down to 268g

Nope, I think it's just the dampers. Rather, I hope it's just the dampers

I was using the Talon 15 governor before and it works very well, but after switching to the Spartan governor I will not go back unless the hobbywing sensor fails or something.
The small weight penalty from using the RPM sensor is well worth it, the improvement I get from using the Spartan governor makes it worthwhile.

I think if you can move the sensor away from the ESC you should give your vbar governor a try.

Sure, I know Vgov is better, I loved it on my X3 vs internal gov but this one works well enough. I might do something about it once I get my wire and replace my battery wires, but honestly I'm not too motivated to

Nice flying Number, you should give the Zeal blades a try it makes the 250 fly so much better
I let a friend of mine fly my 250 with the Zeal blades, then I loaned him a spare set to try on his 250. He went straight out and bought some for his 250.

Yes pricy but they do fly well.

I have given away both sets of my Align carbon ones as i like the Zeals so much.

I always keep spare blades in the T-Rex250 carry case, as i don't like being down for long when i do have a crash.

I just searched eBay. "Lynx Ultra Dampers 250" and HeliDirect had them. It appears I got the last ones though

These people have them though, a bit pricey but free shipping

Well some unfortunate news, I went ahead and tried to fix the RPM sensor issue, I shielded it with alu foil and checked all soldering, to no avail: Vbar still doesn't see the RPM.

So I gave up and removed the sensor altogether. Sad, but there's not much I can do. I may try again some day. The sensor may just be dead.

On the bright side, I'm down to 269g

Let us know if they are stiffer than the align 250 dfc dampers.

With my experience with Lynx dampers, they are almost completely solid.
