Ok, so i want to go flybarless with the tarot zyx-08/01 and everything i have read is SO confusing. I think a video would really help me understand how to set it up. Is there a video anywhere that tells how? Thanks
-Jason

This isnt a video, but I liked the this tutorial. Except I think channel one is backwards in his diagram. If looking from the rear of the heli, channel 1 is the right servo.
http://www.raptortechnique.com/tarot/setup-sticks.html Here is how to run the wires.. http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=385972 Here is a video too, Here are all my settings, Double check them on your heli though! Setup Menu: 1 Flash-Yellow 2 blinks ( Mount direction 2, Stock mount location, black color on zyx on left of heli, wires coming out the right when looking from tail forward.) 2 Flashes- Yellow 2 Blinks ( in 3D mode) 3 Flashes- Yellow 3 Blinks ( all digital servos ) I have stock cyclic and 5084mg on tail 4 Flashes- Yellow 2 Blinks (120 Degrees ccpm) 5 Flashes- Yellow ( Pos piro compensation) tilts forward and holds that direction when rotating the heli 90 degrees. Settings Menu: 1 Flash- All are on the defaults for 3D mode from setup menu 2 Flashes 1 red (ch1) - yellow 2 red (ch2) - Yellow 3 red (ch3) - Yellow 4 red (tail) - Blue 3 Flashes (servo trim) all servos set to 90 degrees to the frame at mid stick. 4 Flashes (servo limits) I adjusted both direction on the tail but left all others on default. 5 Flashes ( gyro compensation) 1 red-yellow, 2 red - Yellow, 3 red -Yellow 6 Flashes on default values 7 Flashes on default values Tx settings: DR/Expo - 0 and 1 modes All are set to 100% and INH Travel Adjust all movements are 100% Sub Trim - all 0 Gyro - Sw-gyro mode, both at 66% gain Throttle curve- Norm L- 0, 1- 56.5, 2- 72.5 3- 72.5 4- 72.5 H- 72.5 Stunt L-100 1-100 2-100 3-100 4-100 H-100 Pitch Curves Norm L-30 2- 40 3-50 4-75 H-100 Stunt L-0 2-25 3-50 4-75 H-100 Squash mix, Mix 1, Mix 2, Revo mix are INH Setup menu in tx: Reverse- Rudder and Pitch are reversed all others are normal Squash type 1 servo 90 Degrees D/R Comb - INH |

Id just use the programming cable and your computer to do the setup, its alot faster and easier to understand.

I didnt buy the cable or box, but after doing the Flash setup a few times it becomes really easy. Oh and the last thing you should do is check the piro compensation. It has a goofy habit to change with some settings. Make sure if you change a setting, to always hit the set button to save it before unplugging the battery. One thing that kept throwing me off is when checking gyro compensation, the servos will move fast when you tilt it, but then slowly return the squash plate to level. I thought the slow movement was the compensation, but it wasnt. I found that if you slowly tilt it, say left (heli facing you), the left servo arm should move up at the same speed that your tilting it. It may not make sense now but when you have it in front of you, it will.

that's the ticket along with the programming USB cable. I had some problems at first but members like infocus, being and others helped me through it.
