Default Align T-rex 450 Pro 3D Inventor Files

Hello guys,

as you might know I reverse engineered my Align T-rex 450 Pro helicopter. The process can be read on:

https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=222121

More information can be found on:
http://www.datmartens.com/en/align_t...ro_3d_mode.php

As of today all the files are free to download, and you can use them for personal use only. I placed a RAR file on my server containing the Inventor 2010 files, it's 100MB. When you download the file, please read the attached 'please read' file.

http://files.datmartens.com/Align%20...or%20Model.rar

Have fun with it!

AFAIK, Align doesn't own a single patent or have a single patent pending, if they tried to threaten you, good luck, that just makes them look like a$$holes!

Very cool. Any way to get the 'flat' pieces (i.e. frame sides, etc) in a dxf or dwg file?

Hi xp7amrkr

I love your work and am indeed envious. I use to be a ACAD "expert" 20 years ago so you can imagine how much I enjoy looking at your project. I have just downloaded the education version of AutoCAD 2012 so I can start to do some drafting with my 14 year old son who is studying Design and Technology at school and thought this woudl be great project for him.

I noticed you are doing a Trex 250SE. We ahve pulled apart our 250SE and I have him working with the calipers and startignt to take down the dimensions and drawing but if you posted the 250 it wold be great for him (and me) to learn from your work

Please let me know

Regards,
David

Default Nice work!

That's a great model. I imported it into Solid Edge ST4.
