Default align 325 blades and metal blade grip

I'm trying to fit my Align 325 blades into the metal blades grip but they are too thick due to the plastic insert around where the bolt goes through.

The metal blade grips have a clear rubber spacer which folds inside the blade grip. If I remove this spacer the blade becomes sloppy

Should I

1)Remove one side of the black plastic insert on the blade (fits perfect this way).

or

2) Remove the rubber insert on the grip and compensate with a metal washer.

Thanks,

Nick.

I've simply cut the insets (spacers) to half and use one half on each side.

Why didnt I think of that!

Presume I should keep spacers on both sides either top or bottom.

Cheers.

But not only that - now you have one extra set of 'half' spacers as spares! LOL
