Yea, I have the "Pineapple" paint scheme of the model above. They work great and are of high quality.

I had the "pineapple" one, too, until my Bulldog ate it...

I have a very nicely made Fusuno canopy, but it doesn't give you any more room under the hood for the battery, unfortunately. I still had to elongate the holes rearward as I did on the stock canopy and it's still a very tight fit.

Is that a 450ex canopy? Mine has more room... don't have to sit it so high up towards the motor

It says 450 ex on it, but I sure don't notice any extra room. Don't all the 450X Fusuno canopies say 450 ex on the side?

Only the extended/larger ones, their normal ones look exactly the same as the standard canopies.

I dunno.. maybe you got one painted with "ex" when it's regular.. or maybe mine is just a bit looser giving a little more room.

as pion said you must only have the "standard" size. you will definately notice the bigger canopy.. have a look at the thread i made for the larger sized canopies - i believe most suppliers are similar in the sizing

https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=609993

makes putting the canopy on much easier. plus its not so big it looks out of place. i must say though pionwave yours looks much brighter then mine!

It's definitely not any bigger. In fact, the picture of the exact canopy I ordered on their website said ex, too.

I have an issue. After installing spectrum servos, the control horn rubs the canopy. Is there any rounder canopies, meaning the dont taper inwards?

The Fusuno EX canopies are taller than the stock canopy....when one compares the mount hole position, side by side.

Being fiberglass, they are much more rugged than the stock "acetate" canopy.

My only "beef" was that the "striping tape" tends to come unstuck....but the paint job is of good quality.

When mounting your main batt., ensure that it is as far back as possible...without touching the motor "can".

Then the canopies will fit properly, as the front top of the main batt. will contact the inside of the canopies.

FWIW

The battery isn't so much the issue. It's a tight fit, but okay. The issue is the canopy tapers inwards, and this part pushes on the servo horn.
