Hi I had this trouble too with the 3gxmrs and the new dx7. The Sattelite had a solid light but the fbl stayed in bind mode.I sent the 250 bnf back to where i bought it.
They tried it with several Spektrum tx and told me that the 3gxmrs does not bind to the new dx7 and 6 and that Spektrum need to update the radios with new firmware as they are not compatible.

I'm only going on what the dealer told me,they are a large uk store and i would imagine they know what they're talking about.

I did contact Spektrum about the issue but they didn't really believe me so who knows..

I believe the new gen 2 dx6,7,9 don't allow dsm2 here in the UK or Europe for that matter.
