SR linkage lengths

Does anyone know the lengths of the pitch & servo rods on an unadjusted factory fresh SR?

They don't give that info in the manual. so my guess would be measure them before you mess with them and make a note. With that being said, 0" pitch at mid throttle, get the swash level / adjust links as required. If at mid stick your swash is level and the blades are at zero then you can take measurements if you want, but that can vary because they are plastic parts. the important part is level swash and zero pitch at mid stick with throttle trim at zero and aileron and elevator trims centered.

Somewhere in this forum there is already a post that gives the lengths of the rods. You could also go to your LHS and see if they will let you measure one still in the box.

Factory Link Length:

• Pitch (Right when facing nose): 17mm
• Aile (Left when facing nose): 2.5mm

Just wanted to add a bit more to this. The actual length could differ based on the servo arms. one tooth in one direction or the other can make a good bit of differance. Than factor in sub trim if your using a programmable TX.

Brings me back to my original post,,,,,,0 pitch at mid stick and so on. the measurments above / previous post may be a good starting point but will not in all cases be appropriate.

^agreed. I started there with my last rebuild and then made a slight adjustment here and there as I did the 0 pitch and 90 degree servo arms (with sub-trim) at mid-pitch.

I should have mentioned that myself!
