Default any thoughts on using hyperion ds-20gmd for tail servo

i mounted 3 hyperion ds-20fmd for the cyclic,was considering using a 401/ds20gmd for the tail. any thoughts.i know most go with the s9254 for the tail servo but im on a budget. thanks for any imput.

there is nothing wrong with those servos at all.
very good performer and cheap.
some suspect that they are rebadged savox as well just like the Aligns.
I have used that combo before and it was VERY accurate.

Im using a full set of the FMDs on my Vibe cyclic and GMDs on tails as well as throttles.

Going to prolly use a full set of the new coreless ones on my new Frenzy as well.

Thats very encouraging, thank you guys. I just put hyperion servos on my cyclic. I havnt flown them yet, but i am very excited to try them.

I have a brand new Frenzy and set-up so I have LOTS to tweak still, but my first impression after two flights is that I am not impressed with the 401 / GMD combination. I have not played with anything yet except pitch pumps and fast and slow piros, and so far it looks like the combo yields a very soft stop and occasionally looses 5 to 10 degrees on a hard collective change.

Maybe it will be better when I get everything dialed in better. I'm hoping.

I love the FMD's on the cyclic....

i put fmd on the cyclic and throttle,going to put the gmd on the tail,any thoughts on my tx settings using the dx7 for my cyclic,normal-revese settings for all 3 servos.thanks again for all that replied.i plan on using my dx6 for my elect helis and my dx7 for my nitros.
