Hello all,

What do you guys use to record your FPV flights? I've had no luck using a laptop and easy cap USB stick.

It's not an amazing piece of hardware, but something simple would be the Pinnacle Video Transfer. It does the job, writing movies to any USB thumbdrive you want to plug in, with three quality settings. Just be sure to give it 5V and not 12V on its barrel plug.

That's what I use and I like it. But, I'm giving it 12v. I'll have to go back and check that.

Edit: maybe that's why my USB pen drive doesn't work anymore.

Any miniDV video camera with video input gives you superior quality and doesn't mind recording through static.
