Up in the air after a while
Took the flybar 200 out for flight -- first time in probably 6-7 months. I had rebuilt it, replacing a cracked frame, and changed the bearings but never got around to flying it (been doing a lot of boat racing lately). Running silky smooth-- nice to have her back in the air!

Didn't think it had been that long chief. I just splashed out on the black and orange Canomod fuse and cant get enough of it flying past on these long evenings.

I've been thinking about a new bird... X4 II would be sweet, but then i take the Hurricane 200 out and think to myself "Self, this little guy is so much fun... why do you need new heli?".

Very nice chief. What a lovely garden you have, looks just like a southern England suburban retreat with dappled sunlight comming through the trees. And there was me thinking you all had swimming pools over there.

Re: Up in the air after a while
My wife thinks it was designed as her walking garden but little does she know the layout is really a custom designed heli garden-- with my 120 class bird I have 6 different circuits with vegetation obstacles including flying under a redwood tree canopy. Also includes a small pond water hazard (did crash an mcpx in there once, luckily it still worked when it dried out).
It is tough flying the gaui in there esp without the 3d gyros... took me about a year and a half to be able to fly more than hovering in that area. Chief Sent from my XT890 using Tapatalk 2

Well, now I'm down in the ground again. Was at the airfield doing flips and power loops and she was way out there and I lost orientation. Hit TH, landed nose first into the grass. I field replaced the landing gear, and I have a gritty OWB, but was still able to fly another 2 packs. I love the durability of this little guy.
Tracking is a little off so I think I bent the feathering shaft a bit. Chief
