Talking At last !!!

my order is in as well :-)
Since I've only had the older style Esky main gears before, guess I'll have to go back to HeliDirect and grab a couple of the newer designed bolt on one way bearings and holders too - always something else to but isn't there ???

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR EFFORT NUTTZ !

This is great, thanks Nuttz and everyone else that wrote into MicroHeli. And thanks again to Nuttz for sending them his main gear so that they could dupe it.

holy crap, I told them they were gonna go fast, but I didn't think it was gonna be "That" fast, lol. But thats really great news because it shows that there are still alot of E-Smart owners. Upgraded main and feathering shafts are next, w00t

Default SOLD OUT!!!

Crap...I missed out while having an "out of money experience". I was going to order Two Thursday the 18th.

I wonder when they'll have a Second run?

I don't suppose someone would sell me One? With 100 gears sold out surely someone has multiples?

...And don't call me Shirley

I have a CF Tail Boom...New In Package, if anyone would consider a trade?

ALREADY ??? OH BUGGER !!! ( pardon me )

Sent my order in on the Tuesday 16th June ' 09.
Payment via PayPal was confirmed as being completed 16 June 2009 at xx:xx:xx hrs PDT. About 4 pm. PDT.

Received an email back from 'MicroHeli' dated 17th June at 8:52pm. Australian Eastern Standard time, which
should make that sometime about 10 hours earlier on the 16th June in the U.S. Thats what it comes out to with
orders to HeliDirect ) for 'MicroHeli' that would probably be give or take an hour or two depending where in the
U.S. they are located.

Anyhow, email reads in part : -

FOLLOWING IS YOUR ORDER UPDATE....

Order Number - XXXX

Your order has been updated to the following status.

Please reply to this email - blah blah -the usual.

New status: Proceeding-VN

Comments for your order are ( then its just a blank area here. )

Hope to hell they are processing my order already and its not on the 'waiting for next production run' list.

WAITING - WAITING - WAITING - WAITING ( SIGH ! )

Back to setting up the HDX 500 SAH again - - which isn't such a bad idea anyhow. :-)

Talking MicroHeli - Delrin ES600 Main Gear.

WOO - HOO ! ! !

Just received an email from MicroHeli - - -

My order for the Delrin ES600 Main Gear order has just been up-graded to - -

" New status - Shipped-VN "

Even have a tracking number for shipping by DHL.

YAHOOOOOOO !

A VERY, VERY BIG " THANK YOU " to ' nuttz ' and everyone else who took the time,
made the effort to email MicroHeli and persuade them to state production on these new pieces !

Can't wait for the Gear and the new Bearing Centers to arrive from HeliDirect then see how they
compare in quality, fit and finish to the Main Gear sets they make for the Belt CP.

Talking MicroHeli + DHL = ES600 Main Gears DELIVERED !

HOT DAMN !

9:00am this morning delivery guy from DHL knocked on my front door and handed me a plastic DHL delivery bag.
Inside one cardboard box containing my new Delrin Main Gear for the ES600 :-)

NUTTZ is right - ( see his video ) - you can REALLY feel the difference in the quality of the material used and see the attention to the design work thats gone into making these gears they are SO much better.

Waiting ( IMPATIENTLY ) for the one-way gear holders to arrive from HeliDirect to put everything together and see how they work.

These MicroHeli gears are made in SAIGON - Viet Nam probably why they arrived here so quickly.

Now to send more emails off to TWF-SZ urging them to start up the producing line for the E-Smart again soon.

On a side note to emailing TWF-SZ about the ES-600 - - - wouldn't mind if they started making the G-Smart again either.

I hadn't noticed how much quieter it was till you and another guy mentioned it. I compared it to a bunch of my other E-Smart videos and it is definitely quieter, w00t. There isn't as much of a high pitched scream anymore.

I went to a fun fly last weekend and I'm sorry to report that I have a strippage of the new microheli main gear. No pics was taken because I was really upset. I did push the boundary though. The maneuver that did it was a tight inside funnel into pirouetting push. Heard the gear strip and it's auto city. Luckily I brought extra stock gears and was able to fly the E-smart some more even with a botched canopy. The microheli gear is tons stronger than the stock but not as strong as other 3D built birds. So be careful still out there.

Damyxz -

You should send it to MicroHeli for a post-mortem so that they can improve it. Mght have been a problem with the first set in production too. In any case, I'd send it to them and see what they have to say.

I gotta agree with nasukaren, even if you pushed the gear past what it should be able to tolerate. I'd still ask for a replecement.
