Default Governor on YGE (Protos)

The mini vbar governor doesn't seem to work on the mini vbar with the MSH YGE 60A Esc. I configured the maximum number of rpm to 3500 and the throttle curve linear up to 0-75% and then flat to 75% starting from the 50% point.

Whit the stick immediately after the 50% point I have an effective RPM of about 1000 but the requested rpm is around 100. So the governor doesn't engage.

Is possible that the number of poles isn't correct but the number requested is too low!

Any idea?

Many thank.

Alessandro

You need to raise the requested RPM, at 50% = 0 Requested RPM, your curve (if you have a stick on/off curve should look like)

0-90-90-90-90 or even higher like 0-95-95-95-95-95% depends on what 90 or 95 translates to.

Check out my Governor for Electrics video.

I'm sure you have not understood yet how it works
Check out the video, then you understand why you do not want 51%, you want someting higher.

For example:

I use 2400 as max in vbar and that translates to 90% being 1900 rpm. Thats actually quite low. (550 size)

Remember, the rpm range is 50 to 100 not 0 to 100.

I dont use the 0 to % step anymore since I forgot one time I did have it when doing an inverted punchout I dont see the use of it anymore.
