This sucks dude!

I downloaded new schemes and put them in schemes folder (not download folder) and they work.

All settings gone tho!!

Sucks big time

The color schemes work except the tail rotor blur. In v4 it worked with the name "standardTailRotorBlur#color-scheme-name.bmp" where color-scheme-name is the name of the color scheme
but now I get just a white disc

Worst thing: During update I activated the option "keep my models" or something like that!

Had a look at the files in the variants folder...
v4 variants are .pxv files
v5 variants are .var files

both files are text-files... so an manual copy & paste seems possible but time consuming

Soko

PS: And no 3 speed governor? seriously????

if you kept your schemes in a backup folder ( I did fortunately)

Go to My Documents > PhoenixRC > Downloaded > Schemes

and copy and paste them back in here

Steelie,

Does your tail rotor blur work?
I had a backup as well. But the tail blur doesn't show

Im working on that now, and the main blade schemes.

[off topic] got one of your heli tools the other day! Outstanding. Going to do a review for the "Rotors! Rc Helicopter Show" on Google+

u r right :wow:
main blade blur doesn't work either. I could swear it worked in 5.0b but now I have 5.0c...
Anyway. It seems they have changed the blur files somehow
Soko
PS: great to hear you like the Soko Kit

You are a god send. I had so many and lost them also. My most concern was a copy of my personal 550X. A scaled down modified new 700X I made pre all the updates.

OK,
To get the main rotor blur work it seems that the blur-bmp-file (i.e. "goblin700_rotor_blur#Goblin Soko Heli Tools.bmp")has to be in
Documents > PhoenixRC > Downloaded > Schemes
AND
Documents > PhoenixRC > Schemes

That works for me
But the tail blur still doesn't
