Default 600mx timing

hi every one. i have a trex 600 12s with a 600mx motor and hv 80 esc. what timing are you guys running with this setup? I have mine at 5 and flies fine but im wondering if i can squeeze a little more power out of it. on the logs it almost never pulls more than 50 amps and everything comes down completely cool. should i try to bump it up a little? maybe 7 or 8? also i noticed my voltage can sometimes sag down to 3.2 per cell on hard collective. will this get worse if i increase the timing?

thanks alot. it says anywhere from 5-18 for timing. does that mean i'll get the most power with 18 degrees timing? what would you guys recommend?

Quinn,

I'm running 7 degress with a Castle 80HV ICE2. At 5 degress it ran hotter and had less power. My headspeed is 2330ish on the vbar governor. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
