Default mCPX main blades on mSRX

Thought I would try something different this weekend.. have been looking for optional main blades since having more power with brushless setup.

I decided to try mCPX blades as I have quite a pile of these. I first tried filing the end down to give a positive pitch when in blade grips. I was quite surprised to see how well this worked but found the part I had filed down was rather flimsy so would most likely break quite easily in a crash.

I then decided to bend a piece of aluminium to fit between the blade grips and the blade and this would give some positive pitch. Have found that around 10 degrees pitch works really well. Currently using KBDD blades with 10mm trimmed off the ends. Not to sure how this would hold out in a crash though!

Need a lot more experimenting with this setup and may need to trim the blades a little more.

I've found I get a bit more TBO since going brushless when giving a throttle burst. I'm currently using mCPX V2 tail but I'm hoping a brushless tail is going to help this.

Not sure how this setup would work with a brushed motor...
