Logo 500SE tailboom slippage

I noticed the tail boom on my 500SE tends to slip and twist.
The bolts are well tight. Any advise to good fixes. I'm wary of pinning it because a screw would come close to the belt, but I will try it if people are having good luck with it. Open to suggestions.

I pin the CF tail vert fin to the boom with a screw that doubles as a connection to the ground wire. I do the same for the boom to the body.

In the plastic half that clamps on the tailboom I put a screw in there for grounding and pinning.

Most guys seem to do that.

I have not had any issues with boom slippage but I read on the forum a while back that some guys run a little sand paper over the boom where it clamps to the body. They just rough up the anodising a little to give the plastic something to grip on to.

Pinning the boom is probably easier and more reliable though.

I was wondering if you can just use green loctite

Loctite has some solvent contained in it and can melt some plastics. It's really meant for metal to metal contact.

Tried the sandpaper and a good alcohol cleaning. Seems to be good now.

Mikado did do some metal clamps but can't find them now.
