Default Revolectrix Cellpro 8 issue after update firmware

Hello guys!

I've been using may Revolectrix CellPro 8 + parallel board for almost a year without any issue. This week I've decided to plug it in the PC with the CCS software and saw that was a update available for my charger. So I did the update (the version that should correct the IR measures with the parallel board). But, yesterday I went to the field and every time I tried to charge with the parallel board I got a error message, sometimes saying overvoltage cell, sometimes saying bad wiring. The error messages keep repeating even if I tried to charge only one battery at a time in the board. But when I used the regular adapter (that charges only one battery at a time) everything was just fine, no error messages...

Did anyone had the same issue after update the firmware? IMO this can be the only reason for my problems, because before the update everything was perfect, I never got a problem with the charger+board.

Thanks in advance,
Andre

If you haven't done so already, change the wiring mode to JST-XH when using a parallel board. You will need to change it back to FMA wiring mode to use the single pack charging boards.

If you already have it in JST-XH wiring mode, then post details about your parallel board.

Hi Greg!

For parallel charging I use the MPA that I think it's already in JST-XH mode. For single pack charging I use this adapter:

The MPA uses JST-XH wiring mode. The board in your link uses FMA wire mode. When switching between boards, you have to change the wiring mode on the charger. It can be done on the console in the charger settings or using the CCS on the options tab.

Hi Greg!

I think that after the update the wiring mode changed and that's why the errors occurred. I did what you said, the problem repeat one time, but I started over again and everything went just fine for about 7 cycles. So, I think that the problem is solved. If anything happens again I'll post here.
Thanks a lot for the help.
Cheers,
Andre
