Work in Progress
Here is a shot of my BL chassis upgrade so far. It consists of the RKH CF frame, w/ boom supports, and mH CF skids. The CNC boom block has been removed, and replaced by my custom Delrin block, and Woven CF tube tailboom. Also the boom supports have been relocated to the mH skid attachment location, and are connected to the boom at the rear by a custom Delrin clamp.

My micro and a friend's unfinished maxi...
It's a Huey scale fuselage, supposed to get some Vario mechanics and run +1000mm blades once it will be finished. I simply found it amusing to put one of my mCPXs on top.

Super sweet. Cant wait to get mine like that. I gotta wait on other projects and im waiting until a major component fails to actually upgrade it. All I have done so far is the canopy grommet mod.
Keep those pictures comming.

How did you make those holes on the original fin?

With a very sharp hobby/exacto knife. It gives me better performance in the wind and better visual orientation than going finless.

Accurate? Thanks! I did it freehand. A lot of patience, slow careful work with the exacto knife and a good eye. The first cuts are shallow, not going through the plastic. Basically just scoring the surface at first. Then you go over the cut again going a little deeper each time. Make sure you have a piece of cardboard behind the fin or else you will cut into your table or work surface.
