Thanks for the review now I am going to buy one again (canceled my order) but now I will be ordering again. I have owned the 130X (tired of wrenching and changing servos) owned the MCBX BL and non BL (never like them). So my hopes are that this will be a winner micro, I appreciate your honest review and based on your review I am ordering one this week!

I saw this video today. Maybe something you all could do to prevent this happening to you! His servo wire got cut by the motor in the crash.

Well I haven't even received my 150 from HD yet but after seeing some of the crashes I went to the Align R/C Store and ordered a few spare parts before everyone gets the 150 and repair parts get scarce. Hope to have mine before Christmas.

Tail Motor
Well, I got mine yesterday from the LHS. This definitely flies different from the blade micros, much less twitchy.
On my 3rd pack I hit the wall and broke the tail motor mount and knocked the tail motor off. I saw someone ask earlier in the thread and I have the same question, has anyone found where to get a replacement tail motor? |

It's all relative I guess you play you pay hopefully you can source the needed parts. I for one like all the metal, and larger size servos of this heli. replacing Balde 130X servos at $17.99 each got old over a year running 2 130X's it got crazy expensive over time. My hopes are is that the 150 has less parts failure and is more reliable over time.

This tail motor going to be a big issue!!!! I can see it now, either it will burn out like the BL tail does, and or crash damage like above will be a issue, also working on this bird will be more of a pita then a 130x, I can build 130x with eyes closed. this bird gonna be diff. so I am out on this one.

A zip tie around the servo wires and a stronger tail motor mount is really all that it needs IMO.

Ok, I see why you were saying a better mount is a worthwhile upgrade. Is there any way to reinforce it, like say some strategic glue or something?
