Default scorpion commander 130

I see that some of you are using the scorpion 130a esc. I would like to know how is the governor on this esc???
What about the internal bec? is it ok for a 700 set-up?

I ran the internal gov and SBEC for a while, never an issue! I think Matt Nasca also runs his on the SBEC, I could be wrong.

I did eventually switch over to external gov mode.

Just be careful with the commander ESCs. The PWN is locked at 8khz, perfect for Scorpion motors, some don't like it.

Hi.

I uses both the 130a on 700 and 600 size helis. Always use internal bec, and govenor.
They have perform very good, and never had any issue.
If you would be extra safe, maybe use a scorpion backup guard

The scorpion 130 bec is tested to give 70a, so it can handle some power hungry servos

The internal governor on the Scorpion 130s is really nice! I run P-gain at 8 and I-gain at 6 and it holds nice and tight! It also works fantastic with external governor and is easy to setup.

The internal BEC is strong and I have run it on my X7's HV setup, which his pretty demanding. It worked without a hitch. I've since moved to a receiver pack which is my choice on a model as large as an X7. I'm planning on running an HV GAUI X5 on the internal BEC of the 90A Scorpion when its released, which is the same BEC that is on the 130.

If you do run a BEC, it's good to also use a buffer pack, which Scorpion makes, that is really small and easy to use.

Default scorpion esc

Outof all the controllers I ran the scorpion had the worst governor including the Chinese knockoffs of the YGE 's. I don't recommend these to anyone. I also would advise against using scorpion motors they run very hot and are inefficient. I have heard that the 45 and 42 series are better but I'm not willing to spend that kind of money to find out When I can get the motor like an Xera quantum or a KDE for less much less.
