270RC Vibration Question

Does the 270RC vibrate less at 10500 than it would at 9500? I am breaking in my unmodified 270RC and is has some vibes messing with the vbar. The first four flights went well but the 5th one tipped over and broke a blade. I know I really should send it to you Al for a balance job, I'm sure it will be there with you soon.....
I have it very rich, to the point it is leaving oil/coleman residue from the muffler. Needles are at 1 3/8 each. Spark plug is dark so not really worried about a lean issue.

The richness itself can give a vibe issue if it to much,the motor will struggle on the mixture not running clean. I have seen motors run rougher at lower rpms rather then higher but it depends on a numbers of things, mixture being one of them.

The other factors are the crank( true or untrued) ,crank weight ,piston weight which can vary, tuning for a particutlar throttle curve( meaning which needle is it pulling on based on throttle curve and throttle postion).

I would recommend turning the motor up to at least 11,500 to 12K and see if there is improvement or tune it in a till the plug starts to show some dark brown and see if there is improvement at the lower rpms you mentioned.
