I am trying to switch from JR PCM9XII (old FM) to either of above for my 2 birds.

DX8 currently offers a telemetry and 2 AR8000 together, so sounds like a good deal.

Any feedback will be much appreciated!

I've never used an 8fg, but heard good things about them. I have a DX8 and I'm very disappointed with it. Flying helis is hard enough, you need a radio you can depend on. My DX8 has failed twice fortunately without damage or injury, but some DX8 owners are not so lucky.

8fg are very good radio.. I would also suggest you take a look at the new XG8.. Just sold my 8FG to get the XG8... Both very good radios. XG8 has a better case (both are plastic) but the XG8 feels much nice in your hands.. XG8 has telemetry.

You cant go wrong with either the 8fg and XG8.. Its just down to what features are more important to you.. 8fg more channels(12+2), Sbus and smaller radio. The XG8 better case, telemetry and its light due to the LiFE.

@360wings.... just had a quick research on XG8.... you have completely changed my mind....

Light weight with better telemetry are good enough for me to go for it!
