Keep an eye on it. My 500L motor just recently unscrewed itself from torque I guess. I have a 500MX on the way and it is designed differently. The 500L only has maybe 60 flights or less on it.

It's hard to tell by the photo. I'm not sure the gap is as important as is any play between the top of the motor and the can. There shouldn't be any play, and Aligns are noted for having play.
