The only things you won't be able to get are the lower frame box and the canopy. Both have been updated, and are not yet for sale

So frames will remain exactly the same as 600 SXv2?

I can get the other stuff separately if needed.

What are the things they have changed except the frame and the canopy.
Do you think it is wise to get a 600 and convert it in 690 v2 or wait for the 690 v2 to come in ?

Ideas ??

To convert a 600 to a 690 you will need more than just frames and risers. The belt, owb, belt gears, blade grips, motor, pinion, canopy etc. are different. I would wait.

Might make more sense to get a 690v1 and convert it to a 690v2, than to convert any 600.

I'd love to see a final weight for the 690SX v2 with the standard components (YGE, Scorpion, stock blades) so I can just add the weight of my batteries and backup system.

Having a flying weight under 5 kg would be quite fantastic and save me money (you need a license here in Germany for models over 5kg).

I see that 690SX v2 kit is listed on MikadoUSA

However no word on a Conversion Kit yet for those with V1.

I just want to know if the frames are exactly same a V2 600SX or not?

The V2 frame sides are the same for all 550/600/690 models.

If you buy the 600SX upgrade kit and the new V2 chassis box you'll have the makings of a 690SX V2 upgrade kit. Note that the battery support extension has been eliminated in favor of the battery tray itself.

Updated 690SX V2 manual is here.

battery tray , color of the canopy and box on the bottom ...
I have the v1 , pretty easy to get packs in it , I don't think the tray is needed , went from 875 to 1050 for a battery tray ?

Yeah price shot up; I might just pick up a V1 if that's all that changed.

The V1 chassis box will not fit the V2 frames. You can make it fit with a lot of cutting, but it's pretty beefy fiberglass so it's not that easy to make it look nice.

I've gone and pressed the button for a V1 Motor/Vbar combo. Had to take advantage of the Fast-Lad summer sale.
