Hi guys.

Im almost ready to build my Maxijoker 3.

I cant find the link of a forum thread with so nice videos and step by step in the build of this machine. i saw it last year, so cant remember.

DOn't recall a MAxiJOker build - I did the Joker3 which is very similar here - hope you can share some pics and thoughts of your build !!

The built is very similar, you should use Mercuriells built videos.

Different is basically of course the length of boom and support and the Maxi has a 6mm torque tube instead the 5mm of the Joker, also a fourth bearing is installed in the boom. Then the lower frame is larger and, the landing gear and the rotorhub looks different, but is geometrically the same.

The idea is to replace my actual trex 700e stretched to 830 in AP work.
My system actually uses the xera 4035 300kv and i can have stable 1400rpm on 800mm symetric blades.

I inspected the kit, and it has one motor pinion with 13 theeth, but because im new in Minicopter brand, im not sure the KV the motor needs for my aplication. I want 12s 800mm and 1400 governored rpm

About the airframe, what can you recommend me to integrate the videocamera? It looks i need taller landing skids, cant find a mounting system for the gymbal in your airframe.

I saw in minicopter web the jokercam kit, but is too late, i didnt knew when i ordered my copter.

Last thing. Did i need modify the airframe to put 830mm rotortechs?
