Default Unstable tic tocs

My elevator tic tocs give me unwanted aileron movement. Has anyone had this issue before? The heli flies fine otherwise.

If its really fast oscillating type movement try reducing dial 1.

If its slow mushy type movement try reducing dial 2 and you may also need to increase "Cyclic Response" parameter menu G.

Does it bobble on hard stops?

It's a slow mushy one. I reduced dial 2 and I will try again. If this doesnt do it I will try parameter g. Hard stops look ok.

Try that and let us know how you go, but it does sound like your cyclic inputs are overshooting and slowly correcting to steady state.

Thanks. I lowered the 2nd pot and it is a lot better. It is however, still there a little. I checked parameter G and it is set at purple, which is the lowest. I don't think it goes any lower than that. I think I will try to lower the second pot even more.

Good progress

You actually have to increase parameter G not decease. One step at a time to your liking.

I usually run G pretty high depending on the heli. I like an increased flybared feel. Nice and rigid. No wobbles.

Really. The manual said that too high of a gain will cause instability.Typo I guess. That's promising though. I will increase it right now.

Only increase G if you feel you need to. Keep turning down dial two slowly.

It is probably from some input, I always try adding some expo first for a quick test.

What a great idea

I never thought of doing that as I run around 25% expo.

That was my first guess. The elevator interaction was always to the left side, so I tried to pull the sticks a bit to the right, but it was still there, only the tic tocs rotated to the right. My other beastx equipped 520 sized heli doesn't give me any of this even though I don't run any expo on it.

I also upped the g parameter. It is better. I will try to recenter the swashplate too. Maybe it isn't perfectly level.
