Default Scale at the NATS/IRCHA

Hi guys.

As some of you know, I like to travel a lot, taking in helicopter scale events from the East Coast to the Mississippi. One of my stops is the Nationals and as one of those Crazy Canucks, I am also representing my country at these events. I enjoy the chatting as much as the flying in these competitions. I am also staying for IRCHA, where HF has its own camp ground area and a flying zone right next to it. Scale needs you to dust off your older T-Rex's and Raptor's that are moldering away in their not so perfectly scale bodies, and bring them out to play.

At the Nationals, there is a provisional competition called Sport Scale and the only item you need is three-view line drawing of your helicopter model. You don't need to worry about markings, interior, or anything else that is normally part of 518 Scale documentation. This is a class to get you involved at the grass roots level and trust me, it will be hotly contested. Flying is where you will earn most of your points so if you can do nice slow to medium flying, bring it. You have lots of time to practice and get your helicopter tuned up and ready to fly so go to the back shelves of your hangar and bring them out in the sun to play once more. See you at the NATS/IRCHA.
