New Mods.
Upgraded my baby over the past few days.....
YGE 90LV with 6amp BEC continuous 12 amp peak. Align DS615's and 655. These servo's are super wicked fast and strong running them at 7.4volts...... These come down not even warm.....YGE BEC handles it PLENTY WELL!!! These are super torquey and smooth i am highly impressed!!!! The BEC isnt even breaking a sweat in my opinion even as these servo's are considered power hungry......but not on a super light X5

Well these are in stock..and still no word from gaui on whats going on with the microbeast kit according to empire...but the more i look at it the more the vbar kit is seeming like its not too bad..comes with cf tails, white skids, and looks like x tail case but hard to tell..and of course the new canopy and hv servos..im thinking i could either just deal with the vbar or sell it and swap for a beastx..anyone else eyeing one of these?

You mean the Goblin? Not sure where you got that info from, but if that's all then I'm stoked. I'd be happy with a February release!
OK, so based on your last post you're probably answering the question about when the Gaui BeastX Combo will be available. I'll be a happy camper either way. |

so i was putzing around the gaui.com.tw site to see what else might be there, and i noticed that the HV combo lists the following on the specs section for the new "premium" (formula,HV whatever) kit:
•Newly designed Main Rotor Head & Swash Plate •Scorpion BL Motor 910kV(1820W) •New Layout for Direct Drive CCPM •Heavy-duty torque tube driven tail. Same motor. Picture shows the same GE-610 ESC (with HV servos...spose it will hold up?) Two things that caught my eye are new servo layout (would love to see how this is improved) and the new rotor head and swash. Presuming the V2/3 swash is the same as has been out for awhile, but with new servo layouts, maybe not. Also noticed green dampers with a "60" hardness, part # 208918. Anyone have any knowledge on these items?

So a new version (upgraded components - not JUST FBL unit) IS coming out.
A bit concerned since I am buying the super combo with the Microbeast.

I think those specs are just copy and paste of the other kit..it says the same thing..did notice the cf tail blades and white skids though..and now maybe green dampeners? Also not sure if it has the x tail case or not..saw a vid on youtube but not sure if it was stock
