I think it's slick marketing...the BeastX is great...let's call it somethingX. I'm surprised they didnt put 2 or 3 XX's to make it 'better'

Engineering, manufacturing, and marketing are different skill sets. If they can make money without the hastle of marketing and customer support - well I would jump at the opportunity. Align has a substantial distribution network and significant name recognition.

Sent them an email yesterday asking for a feature list and a release date and just got a reply.

Yeah awsome flight. I cant wait for the new version, although 2.0 is really good aswell.

Im hoping for some better tail-accuracy around center, aswell as some less robotic-feel on the cyclic.

I think Blink is referring to the rumor about Beastx "secretly" producing Align's new 3GX FBL unit.

Interesting. I heard from a normally reliable source that the Align 3G was made by Logictech, after the relationship with the original manufacturer fell through. I heard that original manufacturer was BeastX. I don't know who makes the new 3GX for them, but it would be interesting to find out.
