Default Outstanding day

ok check this out ya'll.. I went to my local field (huntsville) and was seeking help with my velocity and my 500. On the 500 I was having a drift problem. So the only guy there (who happens to be the VP of the club) was glad to help me. Never meet this fella befor. Ok so.. I have a 401b (clone) , and it just wont hold. After a few tries, and one turn to fix blade tracking still drifting.. Know what this dude does?? He goes to his truck and brings me back a new 401 (not a clone), and gives it to me.. I was like OMG wow! thanks! we installed the new gyro. And guess what, bet ya already know.. no drift tail is solid!! Woot ! I forget his name.. but thats a great guy. I was a total stranger, and not even a member yet, but I will be now for sure! Unfortunatly he had to leave, and didnt have time to look at my velo, and told me that a few of the other guys there are flying a velo, and would be more than glad to help me work out the grimlins..

well after that another guy did come by.. he was still learning, and couldnt offer much help with the nitro stuff.. no biggie there, but he did kinda rub me a tab bit wrong.. I was telling him abut my 500, and the fact I am using trungy MG servos.. I know they aint the best, but I havent heard of them being total junk either.. he was like that servo is all good till it short out and cause you to bury your heli.. Now come on I know ANY servo is able to fail.. I had a brand new hitec 56mg fail.. DUnno I just never have understood why some ppl seem to go outta there way to belittle somebodys equipment.. the "great guy" did not say a bad word one about my equipment..

But nontheless I left the field with all my helis in one piece, 4 empty lipos, and a new friend.. I call that a Outstanding day.

Does indeed sound like a good day. Get that guy's name and try to find a way to pay him back with something. In any event, he seems like a guy that would be good to have around to learn from.
