Default telemetry choice for dx9 volt\cell and mah consumed

Hi guys. I would like to use telemetry on the dx9 to see the voltage per cell and consumed mah. Is it possible?

Thank!!

I believe that you'll need to install the telemetry module(optional)...but not sure if it will give the details you are asking for...I have the stock DX9, no module

Nope, there are no sensors that will provide that information. I doubt we'll ever see one that reports individual cells, but I'm hoping we'll see a mAh sensor.

They already have an Amp sensor... They just won't give us the ability to see the consumed mAh. Been discussed over on RCG before for years... All they need to do is the calculation inside the radio. No idea why they won't do it.

Its disapointed that the dx9 not have this technology because its possible with quanum lcd screen at hobby king. I think if quanum at hobby king can give the voltage per cell and the mah consumme the dx9 will be able.

The accuracy of mAh measurements is heavily dependent on sample rate. Just because other telemetry systems support it doesn't make it accurate.

Ideally, the mAh accumulation calculations need to be done in the sensor, not only for higher sample rates but also to guard against lost telemetry transmission frames. It's no small feat, as it requires a very fast processor.

OK, so the hobbyking quanum LCD is not accurate?

Good points all around. Im not as concerned so much with mAh in realtime..
Minimum voltage is what I care about.
I log everything.I use the robo-software and look at all the data closer later. It has a calculator built in that will graph the mAh .
Works fairly well for me.

The robo-software only supports post-flight analysis. The only real time telemetry you can get is what the DX9 reports.

This works very good, using in my 800 Xxtreme: http://www.rctronix.de/wp/?p=163

Invidual cell-voltages is still a dream tho. There's ways to log those but not to use them in real-time telemetry to TX as far as I know.

Sorry for the simplistic thought, and hope I don't get flamed by the experts here, but couldn't some sort of logging sensor from the telemetry plug in to the balance leads on the batt to get individual cell counts real time, for example?

I have two of these sensors and I'm quite happy with the readings.

Maybe since I'm on my phone I can't get the conversion to English for that site. Is the item there a mah telemetry unit?

Perhaps they don't think their user base has enough demand for it.

I'm currently waiting for a version of a sensor to arrive from Sweden. If I cannot get it to work, then I will sell off my DX9, all the sats, TM1000, and switch to Jeti which has had all of this perfected years ago.
