It was a lot of fun last year. Even for its inaugural event, there were lots of pilots and great weather. It really is a beautiful facility that has a down-home fun fly feeling vs. any sort of outdoor convention as some have turned into. I thoroughly enjoy it.

FYI - There is good camping all around the facility. There are showers etc right behind the 3D line. There is also lodging within 25 minutes in any direction. Spartanburg is very close and has plenty of lodging and restaurant offerings.

I live 30 minutes from the facility and am happy to help folks who may need guidance on the area.

Greg and I will be back again this year; we'll be rolling out of Muncie on that Wednesday. I have to say it's the one trip I've really been looking forward to all year! Laid back and relaxed and the weather was perfect, and waking up next to the lake with the fog rolling off of it was a great start to each day. I think everyone who was there last year had an awesome time. Hoping to get a little Stearman time this year, and some more aerial photos!

I was at Joe ball like 8 years ago so yea this place is freaking huge. You know a guy named Brad petty very good friend of mine who lives in Spartan burg

The list is growing... Last year we had less than 10 pre-registrations with a final pilot count of 107... So with 50 plus pre-registrations it looks like the event is well on its way to setting a record in its second year...lol... I hope to see you there....
