This is Simon, he has been flying for a bit over one year. He is not comfortable when he knows that someone is filming, but kudos to him as he's keeping it in check.

Oh, sorry to ear that. Nice helicopter for sure, fun to fly, still twinkling the tail but satisfied with it.

Thanks, the ikon is pretty good! The only thing, I'm getting a small wag, nothing to to with gain, I'm playing with the advance setting, but not all gone yet but flyable. By the way I upgrade the 3gx with v3.0 on my 550, flying good, but I'm changing for an ikon.

Nice flying, jkkmobile. My 500 Pro is one of my favorite helis, as it just has so much power and agility.

How did you find the tail on your 500 Pro, using the iKon? I'm going to put one on a 700E DFC.

Also, have you tried the self level feature?

Just curious, I'm using a ds525 on the tail and i'm getting sometimes a kind of slow wag that on and off. It does not affect flying but... I tried different setting in the advance menu not enough I guess to make it disappear. Did you had to change anything in the setting out of the ordinary that could help me!?

Thanks! Tail has been super.. I have ds650 on tail but as it is 12s with scorp 4025 it needs to do a lot of work. Slight tail kick on really hard collective kicks but i think i can minimize it with lower gov gains...
All in all very happy with Brain on it.

I had similar slow wag when my tail shaft was dirty after a crash.. After cleaning it was good again. You might also check if tail pitch slider moves perfectly..take the link rod off and test. I remember ones i needed to loosen one of the bolts on the dog bone link to get it really smooth.

Just went full circle and purchased a 500 again. A 500 was my first big heli and I sold it off to puchase bigger ones. After flying every size heli I have now made my way back to a 500. This to me is one of the best sizes to have. I will probably never not have a heli this size again. First flights with it remind me of a bigger 130x. That actually says a lot to how good the 130x is. This thing crashes amazingly and it is the perfect bird to progress and hone your skills on. It's fast, powerful, cheap to repair, and can do everything a heli that is bigger can do. Here are two videos I took yesterday, The last one has a crash. Read description for crash details. Happy flying.

Doing some set up testing in the neighborhood. We decided to give the SK540 a try coming from the BeastX. The flight packs are Pulse Ultras with 85 cycles. Both were performing well. Very satisfied.
