Any Oxy 2 updates

Well you see, the problem here is that Amain and Helidirect are lynx' biggest customers. Lynx is going to scratch their balls first, EVERY time

I know a friend of mine got his before ours were even in stock (and sadly already crashed it!), as well as several other members here on the forums (I can't tell you if it was Lynx reps or not).

Our 2nd "shipment" of our initial pre-order from the "100 kits" is shipping next week, and we're trying to accurately provide an ETA date on the product page. Once it ships, it will be updated again; right now we're assuming they will start shipping next Tuesday (Monday Night for us in California).

I also stated that i had asked for my kit to be sent and to back order the servos. The servos are infact under a completly different order number.
My main frustration has been being given constantly changing dates. I was concious of not "hassling" their online service, so i would ask them on the date i was told my kit would be ready... only for the date to be pushed back yet again. I have recieved 5 differing dates from Lynx since i made my kit pre-order. If i had been told March 3rd that i wouldnt get my kit untill the last week of the month it would be quite different.
Really not trying to have a go at Lynx but i am quite frustrated, even moreso as my dealings with them in the past (4 kits plus 34 seperate orders in 2 1/2 years) have been awesome.

Just answering someone elses question who is also semingly frustrated,Ill leave this issue to rest.

I'm afraid that's the nature of a pre-order, especially when buying from a small company, you're buying something that isn't yet fully stocked, doesn't yet have a streamlined ordering process, and it's likely there will be hiccups along the way.

I'm a Lynx rep, and got my order in the first day pre-orders were announced, and my Oxy isn't going to be shipping out to me until Monday.

They're fulfilling orders as fast as they can, but right now they don't have a bunch of stuff in stock, they're literally sending it out as soon as the inventory arrives, and they're having to manage a huge amount of emails and requests.

They're still a good company, just crazy busy right now :-)

Rich: any update on the official release date of the Oxy2 kits? ie, not pre-release versions with some 3d printed parts?

Hasn't that day already come? Kits are shipping right now and Jason from AMain just said a friend of his already has his kit in hand.

Not the official release. These are the 100 factory edition ones going out now.

yes when are the molded pieces coming? Fiber re-inforced pieces would make a nice upgrade...

Thanks rich. Kinda doesnt answer my question though. When will it be in stock and is this version with or without some 3d printed parts

The FE edition does have 3D printed parts. The official release will be some time in April with the actual parts, non-3D printed ones. That is all that has been put out.

got my oxy 2 yesterday in the mail yesterday along with the funfly esc and lynx moter now just waiting on the lynx servo's going to watch Rich Knapp videos and start my build

Just a head's up on the Lynx servos. They did get some stock in this past Saturday, but their website never updated to show it in stock. I had prepaid for my set so they shipped it on Monday and I got them today. You may want to contact them if you're waiting on a set or want to order.
